About the role
Are you ready to take on a dynamic and impactful role?
The Housing section of the Department of Infrastructure is seeking a proactive and innovative Tenancy Services Manager to lead the tenancy and estate management service for the Government's Public Sector Housing stock of 1274 dwellings. This is not just about managing a team; it's about driving improvements, fostering interagency relationships, and making a real difference in the lives of our tenants.
In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team of Housing Officers and Administrative Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing services. You will be instrumental in preventing and resolving tenancy breaches, managing the reletting of void properties, and supporting vulnerable individuals through effective partnership working. Your ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and adapt to changing environments will be key to your success.
You will also have the opportunity to implement system improvements, manage human resources matters, and contribute to the overall performance of the Housing section. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the community and to develop both personally and professionally.
