Job Overview
We are seeking for a Truck Driver who has a minimum of 3 years commercial Air brake experience with a class 5 driving license non GDL to join our team. The ideal candidate will be driving 26 ft truck and responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently in Edmonton and surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication, and the ability to handle some heavy lifting if needed.
Duties
* Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations.
* Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
Skills
* Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
* loading/unloading procedures.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
* Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class5 air breaker license.
* Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and paperwork effectively.
* Police records check upon hiring
