Position Summary:
The Warehouse Team Member performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming products, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping products, and/or building pallets. Warehouse Team Members are active throughout their day working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen products in a multi-temperature food service warehouse environment using powered material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Order Selector safely and accurately selects customer orders, builds orders according to assigned load tickets, shrink wraps and labels orders and moves completed orders to the loading dock area of the warehouse
Accurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory as needed
Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate powered industrial equipment within the warehouse
The Warehouse Order Selector performs basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
0 to 1 plus years of general work experience
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds
Comfortable with working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from
-10F to 80F
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
