An opportunity for a Cert III qualified Arborist, or Cert IV or Diploma, exists to join our team.
We've successfully filled the last trainee position we had advertised but we're looking for another Arborist to join our crew.

We're looking for a reliable, experienced Climbing Arborist/groundsperson to join our team today. We're based in Albury-Wodonga but work within the local area so that each team member can be home each night.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Climbing Arborist to join our crew.
At Local Tree Care we have AQF Level 3 and 5 Arborists undertaking all aspects of tree maintenance including tree removal, pruning, stump removal, storm damage, tree assessments and reports, pest and disease treatment for a wide range of clients including private, government, real estate agencies, building contractors, hospitals, council and commercial.
The suitable applicant would hold:
Certificate III Arboriculture or higher,
EWP Ticket (preferred but not essential),
Manual & MR drivers' licence (unrestricted and valid),
Competent and skilled in tree removal and pruning (including confined spaces),
Physically fit and proficient with rigging, ropes and harness and a good understanding of AS4373-2007 (Australian Pruning Standards),
Able to work in a positive team environment, reliable, possess a good work ethic, strong communication skills, be punctual and professional,
Honesty, reliability, trust and respect towards clients and fellow employees at all times.

MR licence (preferred but not essential)
First Aid (preferred but not essential)
Traffic Control (preferred but not essential)
Chemical Users Certificate (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities
Predominately tree removal / pruning services – depending on the scope of services assigned for that day
Driving work vehicle (truck or 4wd) to site and site setup
Either climbing and undertaking tree removal / pruning services or assisting the climbers on site, including use of harnesses, ropes, hand tools/ chainsaws, rigging, cleaning the site at the completion of service, ensuring at all times a high standard of work, as well as a high emphasis on communication and safety for all on site,
Assist with the operation and maintenance of the equipment each day (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinder, loader, and other equipment as needed each day) and personal gear (ropes, harness, PPE and all associated equipment).
