Thank you for concidering me to assist your loved ones with their daily needs and activities.
I am a 24 year old PSW born and raised here in Thunder Bay, I currently reside on the South side of the city - I have 2 young children and a dog. I graduated from Confederation College in April 2020 just before Covid hit, we were rushed into working due to the pandemic. I am able to assist with all ADL’s (including housekeeping and cooking), I am familiar with Ostomy bag changes and Catheter Care. I am comfortable with all pets and can clean up after them as well. I have lots of experience working with dementia patients in long term care homes, I am able to communicate in an effective way to suit one’s own unique needs.
Overall, I love spending time with elders in our community. They have such amazing stories to tell and love talking about their lives and loved ones. I love laughing and reminiscing with them, and just enjoying life as it is now the best we can.
I am also open to assisting families with younger children as I have a small amount of Doula Training.
I am available after 3pm during the week.
Weekends I am flexible but prefer morning/afternoon.
We can set up a price for services that suits your families finances.
