We are currently seeking to employ a Senior HR Advisor to our Support team based in Upper Hutt, Wellington. In this role, you will work closely with Managers within your portfolio to support them in their daily operations, as a trusted advisor, providing expert HR guidance, while championing a culture of engagement, diversity, high performance and wellbeing.
About the Role

Take a hands-on approach to the daily HR operation, where you will proactively support managers within your portfolio, with recruitment, performance, succession planning, talent development, and change management.
Alignment with current employment law and regulations and providing expert advice in both areas, as well as the application of HR Policies.
Align HR strategies with business goals and coach managers to ensure legal compliance and uphold best HR practices.
This position will report to the HR Manager and partner with the broader HR team to drive initiatives that make a lasting impact.
Qualifications and Skills
A tertiary qualification and experience in a senior advisory role.
Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and talent management.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to use initiative and work solo.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to drive change and innovation.
