The Opportunity:
The Government of Canada will be hosting the 2025 G7 Leaders' Summit which will be held in June 2025 in Kananaskis, Alberta.
We are looking for Class 4 Drivers to join our team to support this event. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles to provide passenger and material (freight) transportation at various locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with a luxury tour operator while supporting a key political event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a variety of vehicles to provide passenger and material (freight) transportation at various locations.
- Vehicle types may include: 24 passenger bus, small vans and regular vehicles
- Working as a team and/or individually
- Working in all weather conditions
- Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling freight that can weight up to 23kg (50 pounds)
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s license
- Experience driving one or more of the following vehicles: small van, cube, shuttle, bus, taxi/Uber is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and offer excellent customer service which includes greeting customers and responding to questions
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and personal integrity.
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Screening requirements: Must have a Class 4 license with clean Driver’s Abstract, and must have or be able to obtain a clear criminal record check
- Must have flexible availability including days, evenings, nights, and weekends leading up to and during the event.
