About Us:
We are a well-established Indian clothing store in Brampton, specializing in traditional and contemporary South Asian fashion. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused sales associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing Indian ethnic wear, including sarees, suits, lehengas, sherwanis, and accessories.
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stock arrangement.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Manage inventory, restocking, and assisting with store displays.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns professionally.
• Work as part of a team to meet sales targets and store goals.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of retail sales experience, preferably in Indian clothing or ethnic fashion.
• Must have legal status to work in Canada (No students, only full-time workers).
• Strong knowledge of Indian fabrics, embroidery, and fashion trends.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi, Punjabi, or Gujarati is an asset).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, energetic, and able to build relationships with customers.
