The primary responsibility of the QC Associate Laboratory Technician is to support laboratory functions including preparation and sterilisation of media required for testing, document support, planning and coordinating own workload and contributing to ensuring the smooth running of their area to meet schedules for release of final and intermediate products.
The QC Associate Laboratory Technician sits within the Global Animal Health Manufacturing organization and reports to QC Manager.
**What You Will Do**
Duties include media and equipment preparation and sterilisation
- Laboratory support for all areas
- Ensuring testing can be performed, to required standards, according to set schedules/timelines.
- Accurately record all test data/observations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Minimize Events / invalid test assays
- Contribute to the continuous improvement
- Be an active member of the QC team
- Documentation and Reporting Responsibilities
- EHS- Ensure all hazards and environmental aspects in work area are identified, documented, assessed and controlled in accordance with EHS procedures.
**What You Must have**
- Interest in science, some lab experience would be an advantage
- Competency in Mathematics and English (written and oral)
- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or food preparation facility is preferable
- Understanding of GMP/GLP and advantage
- Computer Skills: MS Office suite
