Title of the position:
Pharmacy Assistant
Location - Central location in the heart of Mississauga
Job duties:
• Enter clients’ information and prescription details into database system
• Process medical billing information
• Price and stock items on shelves
• Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
• Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging, and labelling of pharmaceutical products
• Perform general clerical duties
• Help prepare blister packs.
Skills requirements:
• Must have completed a six-month or one year Pharmacy Assistant college program OR have completed secondary school and possess six months of work experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
• Must have experience working with Propel Rx dispensing system (This requirement is an absolute must)
