The Bridge House Hotel has an exciting opportunity for Conference & Banqueting Assistants to join their existing team.
Responsibilities
Meet and greet all guests in the Conference Areas in a polite and pleasant manner
Set-up and serving of Tea/Coffee stations within the Conference Areas
Ensure all food and beverage requirements are met according to function sheet, including items ordered and times
Communicate with the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor regarding any queries, changes or complaints as and when they arise
Liaise with all other departments on the special requirements of large groups or individuals and follow through, e.g., placing gifts in rooms, group departure times etc.
Wear clean and suitable uniform at all times
Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
Returns all reusable table complements and condiments to be cleaned and refilled.
Assists in setting up and/or breaking down buffet or other special food service tables, stations and equipment, as needed.
Sets-up, tend, and breakdown bars, as assigned.
Completes any assigned side-work, such as refilling condiments, sorting linen, cleaning/storing serving equipment, etc
Completes all other tasks deemed reasonable by management.
