Management Accountant
Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Description:
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the accounting department of a construction company. Your primary focus will be on managing and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.
Job Duties:
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Conducting variance analysis and providing insights to senior management
Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitoring and analysing financial performance against key performance indicators
Supporting financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or nearing completition
Proven experience in a similar management accounting or Assistant Management Accountant role
Strong understanding of financial principles and practises
Knowledge and Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
