Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher/Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in their academic pursuits. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to engage with students, and a genuine interest in their development.
We offer multiple teaching position in the following secondary school subjects: Math, Science, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business, Computer Science etc.
Duties :
-Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
-Educate students in various subjects, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
-Create a supportive online classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect.
-Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
-Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
-Collaborate with fellow educators to improve teaching strategies and share best practices.
-Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Skills :
-Strong tutoring abilities to provide additional support for students who may need extra help online.
-Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
-Experience working with children in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and understanding of their needs.
-Ability to manage a classroom effectively, maintaining discipline while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
-Passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth both academically and socially.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience using Moodle LMS is required.
- Proficiency in Zoom for virtual teaching and student interaction.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
-Strong communication skills and ability to engage students in an online environment.
- Experience with online high school teaching is an asset.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional teaching setup.
