Yard Assistant Position We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for a Yard Assistant to join our team at our riding center and livery yard, set in the countryside of Killarney, Ireland. About the Role: As a Yard Assistant, you will be responsible for: Horse care - feeding twice daily, mucking out, grooming, and exercising horses. Client interaction - greeting clients, handling payments, and assisting with lesson preparations. Teaching & support - helping with beginner lessons and assisting in therapeutic riding sessions. Event involvement - helping to organize seasonal camps and our Saturday Pony Club. Horse transport support - assisting our sister company, PT International Horse Transport, with handling and preparing horses for national and European transportation. About You: We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about working with horses and people. Confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. A strong communicator and team player. Experienced with horses (previous experience is essential). Able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the equine industry, with the possibility of instructor training and qualifications for the right candidate.
