Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to ensure quality and consistency.
Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and stocked.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with bar staff and management to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
Develop and maintain a menu that complements the sports bar concept, incorporating customer feedback and seasonal items.
Handle food prep, including chopping, grilling, frying, and garnishing dishes.
Ensure kitchen staff adheres to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices.
Work closely with management to schedule shifts and monitor labor costs.
Assist in creating special promotions or seasonal menus to drive business.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a kitchen setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small kitchen team.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
