Mpeople recruitment are excited to be in partnership with a well-established company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to add an experienced Parts Finisher to their team. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.
* Role: Parts Finisher
* Location: Hyde
* Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
* Hours: Monday to Friday 07.30am – 16.30pm early finish on a Friday
Duties as Parts Finisher will include but not be limited to:
• Cleaning batches of machined parts in line with requirements
• Checking surface finish and polishing
• Use of tumbler, and other automated or manual tooling to process machined parts
• Visual inspection to ensure parts are burr free and meet specifications • Final assembly work when required
• Coordinating paperwork and required shipping requirements with the sales office
• Packing parts ready for collection and despatch to the customer
• Helping to maintain factory and premises in satisfactory order and condition

The successful Quality Inspector will possess the following skills:
• A good mechanical aptitude and eye for detail
• Experience in inspection of fine tolerance components
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• The ability to work under pressure • Able to plan and prioritise workload according to business needs
• Focused on achieving results and targets
