Our Specialized Services Therapy Team provides Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physiotherapy and Behavior support services to children who have special needs and their family.
We are looking for a caring, motivated, high energy and enthusiastic person to fill the Therapy Assistant role. This job entails working 1 on 1 with a child in the child’s home and in the community.
This is for a Part Time positions for 1 to 3 clients, based in the SOUTH of Calgary.
Experience working with children with special needs preferred
Education and/or experience in early childhood development / rehab / health care
Must have own vehicle & be willing to drive to and from clients home.
Must have up-to-date First Aide & CPR Certificate.
Must have current Criminal/Vulnerable Person check.
Must be able to physically lift 50lbs, play and assist with toileting needs.
Job Type: Part Time (20 hours per week with the potential for more hours in the near future).
Salary: Competitive Rates
Work Location: In person
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
