B12Give is a for-profit social enterprise committed to creating a circular economy to combat food insecurity and avoidable food waste. Our on-demand logistics platform connects food business operators with surplus food to community organizations supporting vulnerable populations. We’re scaling our impact and looking for a passionate Community Manager to drive business growth, strengthen community partnerships, and foster meaningful engagement with all stakeholders.
Role Overview:
As the Community Manager, you will serve as the primary contact of the organization for both food donors and community partners in your region. Your responsibilities will include business development, onboarding new users to the platform, building strong partner relationships, and advancing our mission to close the gap between surplus food and food insecurity. This role is a perfect fit for someone passionate about community building, sustainability, and making a meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute B2B food redistribution solutions that support food insecure communities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and food donors.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies that drive program participation.
- Coach, manage and mentor a diverse team of Program Officers and volunteer Program Associates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that highlights our work in the community.
- Track and report social and environmental impact metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness.
- Liaise between all stakeholders ensuring their needs are met and issues addressed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in community engagement, social impact, or nonprofit sectors.
- Ability to engage and work with stakeholders from diverse sectors and cultures.
- Able to work collaboratively with personnel at all levels across multiple program areas.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with food business operators.
- Passion for sustainability, food security, and reducing avoidable food waste.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Previous experience in a startup or social enterprise is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Be able to lift approximately +/- 50 lbs in/out of the vehicle.
- Be available between the hours of 6pm - 12am = 3x per week.
