We are seeking an experienced and strategicHead of Engineering to lead and oversee all engineering operations at our client's food production facility. Reporting to the senior leadership team, this role is critical in ensuring the engineering function runs efficiently, on time, and within budget while adhering to regulatory and quality standards. The successful candidate will drivesafety, quality, delivery, productivity, compliance, andcost improvements to optimise site performance. Key responsibilities include leadingLean/Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuringtimely completion of engineering schedules, maintainingfacility standards, and overseeingcapital investment projects to support business growth. Additionally, this role requires a strong focus onquality assurance, compliance, and cost management, ensuring the department operates efficiently while meeting all regulatory and environmental requirements. TheHead of Engineering will also play a crucial role inteam leadership and development, fostering a high-performance culture that promotes open communication, collaboration, and employee well-being. This role requires an experienced leader with aproven track record in food manufacturing, the ability to drivecost-saving initiatives, and expertise inLean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management. Strongdecision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential to navigate the fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible forachieving key performance indicators, such as compliance withGMP, H&S, and Environmental standards, achievingbudget targets, reducingdowntime, and developing ahigh-performing engineering team.
