Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative academic who can contribute to teaching, research, and engagement at the Pukenga - Lecturer, Pukenga Matua - Senior Lecturer, or Ahonuku - Associate Professor level in Psychology. The successful applicant will be familiar with Kaupapa Maori scholarship and the intersection of Maori and Western based knowledge in psychology, and have a proven track record of successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level. Additionally, they will have a research agenda, a developing record of scholarly research and publication, and evidence of successfully attracting funding for research activities or potential to do so.

Key Requirements
* PhD in Psychology
* Expertise in Kaupapa/Matauranga Maori and the intersection of the Maori and Western approaches to psychology
* Demonstrable expertise in indigenous or bicultural scholarship and/or practice consistent with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
* Demonstrated evidence of successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level
* Research agenda
* Developing record of scholarly research and publication
* Evidence of successfully attracting funding for research activities, or distinct potential to do so
* Demonstrated experience in supervising student research at Honours, Masters and/or PhD level
* Emerging engagement with industry, professions, or diverse communities, including whanau stakeholders
