Shift: Overnight (9:00 pm - 7:00 AM)

Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide overnight care to individuals in the Carleton Place area. As a PSW, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their personal care needs, including hygiene, mobility, and other activities of daily living in a home setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families.
Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including dressing, grooming, and bathing
Provide mobility assistance, ensuring clients’ safety while transferring and moving
Support clients with medication reminders and other health-related tasks as directed
Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as needed
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professional
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the client
Qualifications:
Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma from an accredited institution
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or healthcare settings is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available to work overnight shifts, including weekends
