Job Description & Job Duties
Office admin (NOC Code 13100) will be responsible for administration and management of the daily operations of the business. Analyzing the business activities for its effectiveness and coordinating the administrative services will be required as part of the job duties on a regular basis every week and every month. The Office Admin will play a key role in managing daily office operations and improving business efficiency. Duties will include evaluating business processes, developing administrative procedures, budgeting, and supervising employees. The role will require regular communication with clients, supporting business growth, and overseeing operational financials, including cash flow management.
The candidate will also be required to perform the following job duties:
Evaluating the daily and weekly work procedures, developing the effective strategies and implementing them to boost the business revenue.
Establishing priorities at work and ensuring that required standard work procedures are followed and deadlines are met for the prioritized work.
Setting up daily goals and action plans, and carrying out all the administration related activities as per the schedule.
Administering the work policies and procedures of the business including developing new administrative processes and procedures that will help the company to grow and generate revenue.
Devising effective work strategies that will lead to high productivity and new client acquisition.
Coordinating with the clients via email, phone calls and in-person, and other organizations for office maintenance and administration related tasks.
Participating in daily and weekly business meetings with the founder to discuss ways of improvising the business administration procedures.
Overseeing the monthly budget including revenue and expenses as well as managing the cash in and cash out flow.
Participating in all other business operations including sales, marketing and others.
Working closely with the founder for assisting in the preparation and management of operating budget and budgetary controls.
Coordinating with the new and prospective clients, and communicating effectively with them which helps in building client relationships and acquiring new contracts.
Managing the company data using the software tools and preparing weekly and monthly reports that provide the company with the required analytics for effective business decision making.
Managing and supervising the employees and hired interns.
Job Requirement
The candidate must have good proficiency in English if in Canada or have at least IELTS 6 Band if an international applicant from outside Canada.
A bachelor degree in business or commerce is suitable. Completion of secondary school is mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the industry.
The candidate should be tech-savvy, and should have great analytical and problem-solving skills, and mathematical skills to manage payroll and finance.
The ideal candidate will be highly reliable in managing the company data with privacy and confidentiality.
The candidate should be highly focused, dedicated and have great attention to detail and should have the ability to work for long hours.
Worksite Setting
The position is based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The candidate will be working in the office based environment using the laptop, and will be working using the software, tools and phone provided by the company. The candidate must be willing to relocate to the job location.
