OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
An opportunity to join an innovative and well–established training provider, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Trainer / Assessor to join their successful team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Electrical short course qualifications to learners in a training centre in Southampton. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Electrical sector with experience in Electrical Installation within the Domestic & Commercial sectors.
You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent), a level 3 Electrical qualification along with the 2391 and 18th Edition qualifications. If you have your IQA qualification (or equivalent), it would be highly advantageous!
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ELECTRICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Train, motivate and support learners towards achieving short course electrical qualificationsSupport, develop, implement and evaluate approved electrical training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are metQUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ELECTRICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)Teaching qualification (desirable)L3 Electrical Installation qualification2391 & 18th Edition qualificationsA minimum 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installationExcellent communication skills SALARY/BENEFITS: ELECTRICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
