ECS is seeking a Platform Test Manager to work in our Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award].
The Platform Test Manager is responsible for implementing a comprehensive testing regime to ensure that the platform's components perform optimally across different environments and meet all security requirements. The Platform Test Manager will monitor the overall effectiveness of testing to identify and remediate potential issues before deployment and work directly with the Mission Test Manager to ensure consistency and best practices across testing frameworks and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing regime for the platform's components, including unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address testing gaps and improve testing efficiency.
• Conduct testing and validation of platform components to ensure compliance with relevant standards and certifications, such as NIST, DOD, and FedRAMP.
• Work directly with the Mission Test Manager to ensure consistency and best practices across testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams on testing methodologies and tools, including Agile and DevOps.
• Identify and recommend improvements to the testing process and frameworks to ensure that the platform meets the latest security and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure that testing requirements are met in any third-party products or services used by the platform.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to the platform's testing posture
Salary Range: $148,000-$163,000
General Description of Benefits
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on platform testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks, including Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with security standards and compliance frameworks, such as NIST, DOD, and FedRAMP.
• Familiarity with cloud security and zero-trust architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools
