Position Purpose:
As a Warehouse Loader Associate, you will play a crucial role in our success. You'll be responsible for maintaining an efficient flow of products through our distribution process, ensuring quality standards are met. You will load items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or by hand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport items to trailers for shipping using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, following a predetermined loading plan.
• Move outgoing products from the staging area to the loading dock with a forklift.
• Wrap pallets securely, ensuring shipping labels are correctly placed.
• Accurately locate proper loading slots on trailers and secure the loads.
• Remove and dispose of empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping appropriately.
• Inspect and stack empty pallets, moving them to the proper storage area.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare for operations by reviewing work schedules and performing safety checks on equipment.
• Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Inspect empty trailers to ensure they are clean before loading.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in line with company guidelines.
• Assist with battery maintenance for equipment used during shifts.
• Work collaboratively with Order Selectors and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work assigned schedule and required overtime.
• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and carry products throughout the shift, with weights reaching up to 90 pounds.
• Capability to work in various temperature environments: cooler, freezer, and dry.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
