Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing expert patient care to critically ill patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policy
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Provide accurate and relevant patient information reports to Charge Nurses and on-coming shifts
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire
• ICU experience or equivalent in Intermediate Care (IMC) Unit or Telemetry Unit
