An opportunity has arisen to join our established Press crews here at Acorn Web Normanton. We are looking to recruit an experienced No.1 Web Printer who is highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast- paced environment and maintain high levels or accuracy at all times. Experience of printing is essential.
Working an average 39 - hour week and compromises on 12 hour shifts, rotating days & nights. 06.00am - 18.00pm & 18.00pm - 06.00am
Shift pattern: 3 x 12hr shifts for 3 weeks & 4 x 12hrs shifts in week 4
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the running of the web presses to produce products to the highest quality and as efficiently as the job and machinery will permit. Have high levels of accuracy. Knowledge & confidence to make informed decisions and be willing to assist with technical issues on other machines as and when required. Aware of the latest Health & Safety and Environmental Policies. Good communicator& meet all efficiency targets. Highly motivated with a good mechanical/technical aptitude.
Advantageous attributes would be: Experience of working on Lithoman 32pp or Rotoman 16pp. Formal technical printing qualifications. NVQ Qualification relating to printing processes.

Salary: £44,385 per annum
