Shifts:
• 2nd 3pm-11pm Full-time
• 3rd 11pm-7am Part-time
all with rotating weekends and holidays.

As a Medications Technician, your role will encompass:
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating/feeding, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and medication management.
• Actively encouraging resident participation in exercise programming and community activities.
• Providing assistance to residents during exercise programming and other activity programs.
• Participating in the setup of the dining room as directed, serving meals to residents, and assisting residents during mealtime as necessary.
• Assisting with the cleaning of dining rooms as assigned.
• Practicing safety procedures and adhering to established accident and injury reporting protocols.
• Completing all orientation and training requirements in accordance with state regulations and community policies and procedures.
• Reporting any changes in a resident's health status to the Resident Wellness Director, Resident Care Director, Wellness Nurse, or designee.
• Maintaining current local and state certification, where applicable.
• Attending to other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Your role will also involve facilitating communication through routine daily documentation in the Daily Log and administrative tasks as per your schedule. In addition, you'll document in the Resident Service Book and other appropriate areas daily.

Qualifications:
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Six (6) months of prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Testing: Pre-placement drug test and criminal background check are required.
• Med Tech : Must have PA Med Tech Certification!!
Skills and Abilities:
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates a caring and compassionate attitude while genuinely expressing concern for people.
• Capable of working flexible hours and being available to respond during off-duty hours to community problems and emergencies.
• Possesses excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the language of the residents.
