About the positionJohnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management to be located in either Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA. This role is pivotal in leading the long-range demand and supply planning process for a specific portfolio of products and technologies. The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving and evaluating long-term supply chain scenarios, i...dentifying critical demand and supply situations, and providing insights and recommendations to facilitate major business decisions. This position requires close collaboration with various partners, necessitating the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of the organization, including Global Platform leaders, Site General Managers, and other key stakeholders across the supply chain. In this role, the Senior Manager will run the long-range end-to-end (E2E) demand and supply models using the team's modeling software. They will drive the annual renewal of the long-range demand and supply plan, developing and sharing strategic insights while shaping recommendations with key partners. The Senior Manager will also partner with Clinical Supply and Value Chain teams to assess the impact of the early development pipeline on future technology requirements. Additionally, they will lead strategic supply chain analyses in areas such as network configuration, portfolio optimization, and new product introductions, while proactively identifying business opportunities related to capacity issues, new product launches, and inventory management. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement improvement proposals from both a process and modeling software perspective, thereby increasing team efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring that the company can meet the diverse needs of the communities it serves, aligning with Johnson & Johnson's commitment to health and innovation.Responsibilities• Run the long-range E2E demand and supply models in the team's modeling software.,• Drive the annual renewal of the long-range demand and supply plan and develop/share strategic insights and shape recommendations with key partners.,• Partner with Clinical Supply and Value Chain to develop a view on the early development pipeline and assess the impact on future technology requirements.,• Lead strategic supply chain analyses in the areas of network configuration, portfolio optimization, E2E supply chain optimization, new product introductions, L&A deals, capacity changes in the network and challenge demand and supply chain assumptions/situations according to business needs.,• Proactively identify business opportunities related not only to capacity issues in our network, but also to areas such as new product launches, new technology requirements, business continuity planning, inventory/cycle time management, etc.,• Develop and implement improvement proposals from a process and modeling software perspective, increasing team efficiency.Requirements• A Bachelor's degree in a numerate field - engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, finance, or economics is required; an advanced degree is preferred.,• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a logistics, planning and/or manufacturing environment, within the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Biologics or closely related industry required.,• Strong business insights to understand how decisions impact different parts of our supply chain are required.,• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, as are the abilities to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies required.,• Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels required.,• Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative required.,• Good working knowledge of supply chains / global value chains required.,• Effective written and oral communication skills (English) required.Nice-to-havesBenefits• Medical insurance,• Dental insurance,• Vision insurance,• Life insurance,• Short- and long-term disability insurance,• Business accident insurance,• Group legal insurance,• 401(k) retirement plan,• Long-term incentive program,• Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year,• Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year,• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year,• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
