About the Role

As our Supply Chain Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations. From inventory management to supplier coordination, you'll drive efficiency, solve challenges, and support production schedules. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across teams, leverage your skills, and grow within a forward-thinking organization.

What You’ll Do
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics providers to facilitate cost-effective and timely transportation and delivery of materials.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, manage delivery schedules, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
• Monitor and Manage Inventory: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring raw materials and packaging meet production needs while maintaining safety stock and accurate records.
• Master Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain a realistic master production schedule in collaboration with the Production Manager, balancing customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and material availability.
• Production Alignment: Partner with production teams to synchronize supply chain activities with production schedules, addressing and resolving material shortages and disruptions.
• Data Analysis and Process Optimization: Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, maintain up-to-date records in the accounting system, and provide accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Team Training and Collaboration: Train new supply chain team members and work with cross-functional teams, including sales, financial, and R&D departments, to support new projects and ongoing operations.
• Cost and Supply Monitoring: Work with the Sales Director, Financial Controller, and customers to monitor ingredient supply balances, ensuring sufficient availability within required periods.
• Forecast Communication: Communicate forecast and production schedule changes to the sales department and key customers, ensuring alignment.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Proficiency in supply chain software, Microsoft Excel, and Office tools (MAS 90 experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with food manufacturing or FMCG industries.
• Experience in process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Robust inventory management and planning expertise.

Education and Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles (preferably in the food industry).
• High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• APICS, CSCP, or Lean certification is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
