We are seeking a highly qualified Scientific Director - Data Analytics to join our team at Gilead Sciences Inc. As a key member of our research data sciences department, you will be responsible for leading the development and application of advanced analytical methods, AI/ML, statistical modeling, and computational expertise to advance our research programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical and machine learning methods, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and deliver solutions that support Gilead's research objectives.
• *Key Requirements:**
• PhD in computational biology, computer science, data science, physical science, statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML method development and applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in R, Python, C/C++, shell scripting, and command line tools.
• Strong publication track record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
