Overview:

The Program Manager assists in the planning and organization of operational activities of a specific initiative within the organization, and assists in an oversight capacity for its daily operations. Working under direct supervision, this position helps establish key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the practice/medical group industry to measure program success, regularly assesses patient satisfaction levels, healthcare outcomes, and resource utilization, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assists in the strategic planning process for launching new healthcare programs, ensuring they are consistent with the medical group's mission of delivering top-notch patient care, enhancing healthcare results, and extending services to meet patient demands.

Backs up the program team members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, in creating a harmonious and driven team that collaborates proactively to execute cutting-edge medical interventions, patient care procedures, and operational advancements at specific facilities.

Develops program budgets that prioritize the allocation of resources to key areas such as acquiring medical equipment, training staff, and implementing patient outreach strategies, with a commitment to monitoring financial performance for goal attainment and cost-efficiency maintenance.

Fosters and sustains robust partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals across diverse disciplines, leaders of hospital departments, community health organizations, local influencers, and financial institutions. These collaborations are pivotal in advancing the hospital/medical group's development and enhancing the quality of patient care.

Manages the efficient delivery of healthcare services, encompassing projects like public health screenings, educational workshops for patients, programs for managing illnesses, and investigations in clinical settings, with a focus on upholding medical guidelines, safety regulations, and ethical principles.

Consistent communication is maintained with senior leadership by offering updates that detail the current state of programs, successes, hurdles, and potential resolutions, and by conveying the impact of these programs to internal stakeholders (such as medical staff and department heads) and external stakeholders to sustain openness and active participation in the healthcare programs undertaken by the organization.
