Due to their continued growth my client is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. Working in a hands-on environment this role requires a confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills who can work effectively with clients and all areas of the business. You will equally enjoy taking ownership of your own accounts with an adaptable approach to business requirements.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will demonstrate strong accounting acumen and IT skills in order to make a smooth transition into the role.
Key duties will include:
• Credit control
• Cash flows and forecasting
• Bank reconciliations
• Producing weekly and monthly management reports
• Assist with budget preparation
• Preparation of management accounts
• VAT returns
