At the Amazon delivery station, the role of a Amazon Picker Packer - Urgent Hire is pivotal in ensuring that customer orders are meticulously picked and accurately packed for delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Get and process inventory for shipment
• Utilize modern tools such as handheld devices and smartphones to streamline the process of organizing, scanning, and readying orders
• The process of constructing, packaging, categorizing, and delivering pallets and parcels
• Handle loads weighing up to 49 pounds
• Receive truck deliveries
• Following the instructions displayed on a digital screen can be a useful way to complete tasks efficiently
• Engage in standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching activities throughout your working hours
• Employ carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to conveniently transport heavy objects
• Ascend and descend staircases as necessary
• Perform work at an elevation of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine level, if necessary
