Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $30,000 - $40,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The schedule includes 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with no nights or weekends. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

Job ResponsibilitiesThis role involves assisting the teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, providing support in the classroom by helping students with their academic tasks, including literacy and math activities, assisting students with self-help skills, including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene, to promote independence, and monitoring student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers to help adjust teaching strategies as necessary.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, and a genuine passion for working with children, along with patience and compassion. A related degree and experience working with children with special needs or autism are preferred but not required.
