POSITION: Production Baker (PM Shift, 2 PM- 5 PM typical start time)
LOCATION: Fletcher, NC
City Bakery is looking for Production Bakers to join us as we continue to grow our business! We sell our breads all over WNC to a variety of businesses, including popular restaurants and busy grocery stores. Experience is welcome, but not necessary, we can train on all aspects of our bread production. We love to cross train and to promote from within!
SUMMARY:
Performs duties related to the daily production of baked goods such as mixing dough, dividing/shaping dough and baking, depending on shift.
DUTIES:
• Mix, divide and form dough according to daily production needs.
• Proof and bake all bread and baked goods.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Remove trash and compost.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Teamwork mentality.
• Ability to take direction.
• Proper and safe usage of all bakery equipment.
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly..
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $17.01/hour.
