This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their 24/7/365 operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesElectricians:• Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a high-demand FMCG manufacturing environment.• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and control systems.• Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical standards.Fitters:• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and machinery, including pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to mechanical equipment.• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns to ensure minimal production interruptions.• Perform machine changeovers and assist with machinery upgrades when necessary.Millwrights:• Maintain and repair both mechanical and electrical systems within the FMCG manufacturing plant.• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns on mechanical and electrical systems.• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure that all machinery is operating at peak efficiency.• Liaise with production teams to resolve maintenance-related issues and minimize production downtime.Desired Experience & QualificationTrade-Tested Certification: Qualified as an Electrician, Fitter, or Millwright.Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, FMCG production and supply chain environment.Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of FMCG or high-speed manufacturing equipment, safety standards, and processes.Technical Skills:• Electricians: Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems (e.g., PLCs, motor control centers).• Fitters: Skilled in mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery.• Millwrights: Competent in both mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs.Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to address breakdowns swiftly.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with shifting priorities.Health & Safety: Knowledge and adherence to health, safety, and quality compliance.• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.• Ability to work under pressure in a high-output environment.• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.• Valid driver’s license (advantageous).Package & RemunerationSalary: Market related available/negotiableStart Date: As soon as possible / NegotiableInterested?APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS• We will ONLY consider applications from suitably experienced candidates that meet the requirements of this vacancy.• Interested applications are requested to submit their updated CV’s (in Word.doc format) via email to therecruitmentguy @ outlook .com using Ref # 2240• Attach any relevant documentation that will support & enhance your application• (All) Tertiary and Secondary qualifications• (Any) Relevant Professional Memberships / Partnerships• (Any) Trade, Training and/or In-House certificates etc• (Any) Relevant operating and/or vehicle / hardware / equipment licenses,• (All) Previous employment references and their contactable details.• Correspondence is reserved for the shortlisted candidates who meet the minimum requirements.• Should you not heard from us within 3 weeks of your application, please consider your application to be unsuccessful.The Recruitment Guy (Pty) Ltd South AfricaCONNECT | LIKE | FOLLOW | SHARE | TAGFacebook | LinkedIn | X | Instagram
