• Tasked daily with close and detailed electrical and instrument inspections on 18,000 items across the DSM pharmaceutical plant in Dalry.
• Remedial work carried out on damaged equipment and replacing of equipment in extreme cases.
• Preparation work for shutdowns, eg line walks and gathering required drawings for detailed inspections.
• Implementing and supporting effective working practices and systems as required to continuously improve service delivery.
• Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health and Safety at work act.
• Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business; working long hours and taking on additional responsibility.
• Dealing efficiently and on own initiative with a high-volume workload.
• Complying with all relevant procedures and deliver high standards of safety performance during all operations.
