Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Provide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing and servicing industrial equipment including motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, compressors, conveyors, and gear boxes.
• Possess basic knowledge and troubleshooting of pneumatics, conveyors, and hydraulics
• Completing assigned work orders
• Participate in shift handoffs to share documentation including parts and material usage
• Operating mobile equipment including scissor lifts, forklifts, articulated man lift
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Three (3) years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills of, mechanical, pneumatic, conveyors, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to identify and diagnose problems and implement corrective action
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with production staff
• Ability to prioritize work assignments based on machine availability and production
• Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling in elevated and/or confined spaces
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including overtime
Preferred Qualifications
• Five (5) years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
