By focusing on innovation, operational excellence, an...d adaptability, we aim to build trust through transparency and foster community engagement.We are seeking an experienced Authority Manager / Executive Director to oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of our water authority. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing infrastructure, budgets, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. As the primary liaison with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and industry partners, you will lead efforts to secure funding and implement innovative solutions for sustainable water management.The Authority Manager / Executive Director will champion organizational stewardship and operational efficiency to meet the current and future needs of our community. This position requires a strong leadership presence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders. Additionally, experience with implementing multiphase capital improvement programs and proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, are highly desirable.Responsibilities:• Oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of the water authority.• Manage infrastructure, budgets, and regulatory compliance.• Lead efforts to secure funding and implement innovative solutions for sustainable water management.• Champion organizational stewardship and operational efficiency.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Environmental Science, or related field.• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience.• Experience with implementing multiphase capital improvement programs.• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
