Come be part of a company that's committed to fostering connections within our community through delicious food and friendly service that brings people together.Your Role:- Food Preparation: Prepare and slice deli meats and cheeses to order, ensuring that each slice is cut to perfection and meets our standards for freshness and quality. Prepare salads, sandwiches, and other deli items according to recipes and customer preferences.- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions, offering recommendations, and helping them find the perfect deli products for their needs. Assist customers with placing orders, making recommendations, and providing samples to help them make informed decisions.-Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our deli products, including their ingredients, flavor profiles, and nutritional information. Use your knowledge to educate customers and make personalized recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.-Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as following food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our products.-Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish deli displays as needed to ensure that our department is well-stocked with a variety of fresh, high-quality products. Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking shelves as needed.Qualifications:-You have previous experience working in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a deli or similar setting. You're familiar with food safety guidelines and procedures and able to handle food safely and responsibly.-You're customer-oriented and committed to providing exceptional service that exceeds our customers' expectations. You're friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers to create positive shopping experiences.-You're a team player who works well with others and is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of the deli department. You're reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions and procedures accurately.-You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring that every slice, sandwich, and salad is prepared and presented with care and precision.
