- Prepare and submit proposals to clients, including pricing breakdowns and project timelines
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost tracking
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and pricing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Familiarity with project management processes
