Job Description
Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Endoscopy Technician at our Woodbury location to make a difference for our patients and our community.
This Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for the proper handling, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of endoscopic and patient related equipment to render them safe for handling and use; monitor stock and fill supplies; to assist with cleaning of the department and procedure rooms; and perform other duties as assigned. This position also assists with ordering and stocking Endoscopy supplies and equipment. This staff member aids in maintaining Endoscopy procedure flow by assisting with bed set-up, patient transfer, room turnover and other duties as delegated under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Lead Endoscopy Technician.
Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE. Day hours.
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention measures
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualification
• Previous healthcare experience with medical equipment .
