About Our Clinic and Community

Our mission is to provide comprehensive person-centered health care through compassionate listening, illumination of self-knowledge, and partnership and empowerment in healing. Founded over 35 years ago, CDA Healing Arts is strongly rooted in our community. We serve a thriving, growing urban and rural mixed community with a rich diversity of backgrounds and a philosophical embrace of self-responsibility in health. We practice naturopathic primary care spanning preventive care, acute disease, and complex chronic disease, with strong emphasis on assessment and treatment that honors vitalistic and nature cure doctrines.

We use a cash-based, fee-for-service care delivery model. We are supported by three amazing full-time administrative staff, allowing our doctors to direct their efforts to patient care. Our in-house medicinary includes 2,000+ homeopathic mother tinctures, 200+ botanical tinctures for formulating, and $60,000 in wholesale nutraceuticals. We operate 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday with 6.5 hours of clinical care scheduled per provider, per day.

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is a 100,000-person city surrounded by lakes, rivers, mountains, and forests, providing great opportunities to connect with nature. Our rural and metro area serves a patient population of approximately 500,000 people in conjunction with Spokane, Washington, which includes a major regional airport located 35-minutes from our downtown Coeur d’Alene clinic location. Our scope of practice is very comprehensive in Idaho, on par with MD/DO physicians.

About Our Provider Team

Our physician team consists of three outstanding naturopathic medical doctors who bring a dynamic and complementary set of knowledge, care, and skills to our patients. Care collaboration, continual learning, personal growth, and personal friendship are core values of our physician team. Our multi-provider structure and time blocks create important space for mentorship, case review, and relationship growth within our provider team.

Because of our deep roots, practice reputation, and our community’s desire for naturopathic medical care, our clinic’s new patient care demand far outpaces our existing team’s ability to meet that demand (currently booking three months out for all providers). We are truly excited to offer this opportunity for a colleague to join our team and share in the art and practice of naturopathic medicine at CDA Healing Arts.

If drawn to this opportunity, please apply with a cover letter and CV. Candidates should anticipate a virtual first-round interview followed by an in-person compensated working interview. Cover letter and CV can be submitted to: hunterpetersonnd@gmail.com
