Job Summary
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production workers.
• Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to team members.
• Ensure production goals are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards of finished products.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work with the quality department to implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies.
• May be responsible for ordering and managing inventory of raw materials and supplies.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office - (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively including conflict resolution, scheduling, and time management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
