As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1-1 and small group support to children with SEND across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Assist in the implementation of the National Curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to tailor learning for pupils’ individual needs.
• Foster a positive learning environment that supports emotional and social development.
• Adapt strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
• Engage with pupils to ensure their progression and enjoyment at school.
Required Skills and Experience
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous UK school experience, preferably in a Primary School setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• The ability to work effectively with a Class Teacher and other staff.
Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education also offers:
• £85.02 - £98.41 per day (£16,578.90 - £19,189.95 per annum for full-time work).
