Role Overview\
As a Speech Language Pathologist at Lake Villa School District, you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language disabilities. About the Position\
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech Language Pathologist Endorsement, and experience working in a school setting. Familiarity with district policies and procedures is highly desirable.\

Duties and Responsibilities\
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:\

• Assessing students' communication needs and developing individualized plans to address their goals \
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students \
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to district policies and federal regulations \
• Providing regular progress updates to parents and other stakeholders \

Salary and Benefits\
Our competitive salary range is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and retirement plan contributions. Sick leave and personal time off will also be provided.\

Work Environment\
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work in a dynamic school environment, interacting with students, teachers, and other staff members daily. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting light equipment.
