Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional patient care and support our medical staff in delivering high-quality care. The Nursing Assistant role is a vital part of our healthcare team, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering the best possible care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the care and well-being of patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient areas.
- Provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Support the nursing staff with medication administration and documentation.
- Perform basic life support, including CPR and first aid.
- Participate in the delivery of acute care and urgent care to patients.
- Utilize medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of physiology knowledge and how it applies to patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Use electronic health records (EHRs) software, including eClinicalWorks and Epic, to document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide support in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), including assisting with the care of critically ill children.

Skills:

- Experience in urgent care and acute care settings.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) software, including eClinicalWorks and Epic.
- Basic life support certification.
- Knowledge of physiology and how it applies to patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Experience working in an inpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Contract, Per diem, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 28 per week

Experience:
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
• Aberdeen, WA (Required)
