Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Truck Fleet Maintenance Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of trucks is properly maintained and operational at all times. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, such as engine problems and transmission issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair orders and parts inventory.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
• At least 2 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic.
• Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
• Able to read and understand technical and service manuals.
