• Develops and maintain marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager.
• Provides sales training to front office staff.
• Participates in revenue management calls.
• Schedule and completes sales appointments.
• Attends business, community and civic affair events in the local area.
• Ensures teamwork and enhances cooperation between all departments.
• Works with operations team to greet group events.
• Secure group business for hotel, blocking rooms, sending contract and follow up on cut off dates.
• Assists with follow up on room lists, direct bill and other requirements of previously booked business.
• Facilitates inside sales leads and help with strategy to develop sales plans.
• Maintain sales files and ensure accurate entry in sales system.
• Organize work week to include a strong prospecting plan each week targeting business for hotel needs.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
